Hello, thank you for response, yet there info on how to Set the default hourly limit on all domains and accounts, but it doesn't solve any of the questions i have mentioned, since i don't want to limit the local email traffic inside domain and the hourly limit is on sent and received emails and i want to limit only sent

Hello, Hourly limit is only for outgoing emails not for receiving emails. If you are sending out 1000X emails then simply set it as unlimited from WHM. If you want restrict it 500 server wide for all domains but unlimited for few domains of your customer then edit file of respective cpanel user ie. /var/cpanel/user and add following replace example.com with actual domain MAX_EMAIL_PER_HOUR-example.com=500 then execute /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/updateuserdomains Sagar - Removed -

How didn't I answer your question? ;) How to Set Email Send Limits - cPanel Knowledge Base - cPanel Documentation The title of the article includes the word "Send". This is strictly for outgoing emails, nothing incoming. Your original question was:
is there a way how to set a limit on outgoing emails ,excluding the internal traffic?

So again, how doesn't this answer your question :)

Reading the article as well specifically states: "WHM allows you to specify the maximum number of emails that each domain on your server can send per hour" I think the problem is, failure to read and/or do some searching. If you google "cpanel email limit" or many other variations of that phrase, the very first hit on Google is "

Hello, The following document explains how this feature works: How to Set Email Send Limits - cPanel Knowledge Base - cPanel Documentation Per this document, the system only enforces email send limits on remote email deliveries, so the emails sent to each user on the same domain name won't count towards the limit. Let us know if you have any questions about how this works. Thank you.
