Single threaded backup/transport?
Our VPS is at about 75% disk space capacity. When doing an offsite backup we tend to come really close to failing due a lack of disk space. This being because the FTP transport takes significantly longer than the local backup/ZIP and there doesn't seem to be any way to tell backup to wait until the transport of one account.zip completes before creating the next account.zip. So as the .ZIPs accumulate the overall disk usage creeps up over 95%.
So, is this a common issue?
Is there a way to either single thread the backup/transport process or otherwise tell backup to hit the brakes when disk space gets tight?
Thanks.

Done! Thanks for the pointer (note that I didn't notice that comments there are moderated and submitted two comments).0
