Fresh Install Login Wrong

After just setting up a cPanel server, I logged into WHM via root login and finished the install. An hour later I realised it had me logged into WHM and not cPanel. When trying to log into cPanel port 2083 I could not with root. I tried a password reset and a different e-mail was as the hint? Did I get owned from a fresh install somehow? i.imgur.com/p1DGILc.png

  Hello, You can only able to access WHM using root user. For cPanel access you have to create cPanel account through WHM and after that able to access using cpanel username and password.

  Hello, It's not possible to login through cPanel as the root user. Instead, you should login as the account username. The account username is defined when creating the account in Web Host Manager. Documentation on creating an account in Web Host Manager is available at:

  Good to know, for some reason I felt that I logged into cPanel with root. Must be this cold weather getting to me. Thank you.
