Eddie, Depends on the other provider that will be doing your mail but you can use Smarthost support, this will allow Exim to route emails to the provider. There are some threads on the forum which may help depending on your situation but more importantly to use 20. The manualroute router If you are using a service like sendgrid, they already have articles to walk you through it: Exim 4 configuration for SendGrid - SendGrid Documentation | SendGrid Hope this helps

I will have to host some small websites that will have the classic "contact form" page. This contact forms will use the remote smtp server. How do I have to configure the server (and the external dns) for correctly handle email sent by scripts without spam issues etc?

Hello, You should be able to configure the contact form script to send out email by directly connecting to the remote SMTP server. Make sure the "Email Routing" settings are configured to "Remote Mail Exchanger" so it does not attempt to send email locally. You can adjust this under the "Email Routing" section for the domain name in "WHM >> Edit DNS Zone". Additionally, you'll need to browse to "WHM >> SMTP Restrictions" and ensure this feature is disabled. Thank you.
