Imap account set up in iphone

Hi, i have setup an email account in iphone 7 plus using IMAP. In the list of mail floders there are shown all system mail folders such us courierimapkeywords, cur, maildir, new, tmp etc. Is this normal; Shouldn't only basic inbox files be shown; thanks

  Hello, What do you have configured under "Settings > Mail > Accounts > Advanced > IMAP Path Prefix" on this device? Thank you.

  Hi thanks for your interest. i solved though cpanel support. The email account had been converted from Courier at some point. Using Dovecot with the Maildir format, the file structure of the emails on the account caused the folders to be displayed that way. Moving all of the ".Maildir" files and directories out of the /home/user/mail/domain/mail_account/ folder into a location outside of the "mail" directory on the account solved the problem.
