I try to change our servers DNS templates because it standard points mail.domain with a Cname record to domein.com and MX points to domain.com. If a client changes the IP for his domain he now also changes the mail preference without realising. So I change the mail record to a A record pointing to the servers domain. But how do I correct change the MX record? Can someone from Cpanel confirm this is correct? %domain%. IN MX 0 mail.%domain% Thanks

  Hello, That's correct, however you need the period at the end:
  %domain%. IN MX 0 mail.%domain%.
