Prevent cPanel from overwriting the file /etc/mailips

i made the exim send outgoing messages from specific ip in /etc/mailips but if cpanel made regular update the the file /etc/mailips automatic reset empty file how can i make changes permanent ? i don't want to use chattr command which cause serious problems when create or terminate accounts

  echo "/etc/mailips" >> /etc/cpanelsync.exclude && service cpanel restart

  Hello, You have to disable Send mail from account's dedicated IP if you want to avoid overwrites to that file. Documentation on the supported method of making that type of change is available at:
