Get backup status via API

Hi, with my monitoring system I want to be able to read out the date & time of the latest WHM backup, and the status of that backup (failed or success). As far as I am aware, there is no possibility to do this via the API's. Could I read out this info from the OS trough a command? Or is the only way to get this data via the log files? Thanks

  Hello, The following WHM API 1 function will list all dates that contain backup files. WHM API 1 Functions - backup_date_list - Software Development Kit - cPanel Documentation However, you'd have to obtain the success/failure and full time from the backup logs. I encourage you to open a feature request if you'd like to see an additional API function for this functionality:
