Write only DNS

I have something to which I am not sure if I am asking the right question, so I would like to post a scenario. Server A is a CPanel Server that also serves as primary DNS for X set of domains. Server B is a CPanel Server that also server as primary DNS for Y set of domains. If I set up Server C as a DNS Only service, can it act as secondary DNS for both Server A and Server B (essentially being part of two clusters)? If so, my understanding is that Server C would have to act as a Write only DNS service. Are my assumptions correct? Jason
