Backup runs but Nothing to Restore

Hello, I have backup enabled to do a daily backup twice a week. The backups are moved to an FTP drive and the "Retain backups in Home Directoy" is Disabled I have two issues: 1- Under Restore tab, i can't find backups for either Date or User 2- I selected Uncompressed, however on the ftp there is a {date}/Username.tar file and a system_files.tar Which i assume are compressed.... I would like uncompressed backups and ability to restore. thanks! /J

  Hello, You must follow the instructions on the following document if you want to restore backups stored on a remote server: Remote Restoration - Documentation - cPanel Documentation Uncompressed backups are still packaged into an archive, just without compression. Support for remote incremental backups is not yet offered, but you can follow the feature request for it at: Support for remote incremental backups Thank you.

  Thank you for the reply, it makes sense :-) However the "uncompressed" term is ambiguous. I was hoping it would copy files as is making it easier to access via FTP without unpacking. thanks all good :-)
