Error with cl-quota
Hello, from today I started to receive emails from Cron Daemon with the following:
Cron /usr/bin/cl-quota -YC
ERROR: Can't open lock file for reading
As I read in another post, checked:
[root@asylum /]# mount | grep quota
/dev/sda3 on / type ext4 (rw,usrjquota=quota.user,jqfmt=vfsv0)
/dev/sdb1 on /home2 type ext4 (rw,usrjquota=quota.user,jqfmt=vfsv0)
Then remount the / partition but still getting the emails.
If any have idea of how to solve this.
Thanks in advance!

Hello, This is a known bug that CloudLinux is aware of and working to address (case LVEMAN-1088). In the meantime, you should be able to address the issue by running the following command: touch /etc/container/cl-quotas.dat.lock

Hi cPanelMichael, Same issue: we have each 5 minutes this email send for all cPanel servers with CloudLinux ! Cron /usr/bin/cl-quota -YC ERROR: Can't open lock file for reading
Do you have an ETA/news about a fix (LVEMAN-1088) in cPanel or CloudLinux ? Best regards?0 -

Hello, You can monitor the CloudLinux Blog for updates to LVE Manager to know when CloudLinux publishes a resolution. You can also find the following thread on the CloudLinux support forums regarding this topic: cl-quota Error In the meantime, the workaround is still to run the following command on affected systems:touch /etc/container/cl-quotas.dat.lock
