How to delete old WP Super Cache through cPanel?

First of all, sorry for my english .. Hello, I'm having problems with caching. I recently had to rebuild my site from scratch. When checking the list of cached files through the Wp Super cache plugin I came across files from the old site, which have already been deleted directly from the Cpanel "File Manager". When contacting the Host I was informed that these files can take a time to be deleted automatly and that it would be better to delete via FTP, but I do not have much knowledge. How do I clear the cache of these files, can I do this directly from the Cpanel? Can anyone explain to me how to delete via FTP? if it is not possible to delete it effectively through the Cpanel? Sorry if you were confused .. Thank you all who can help ..
