Terminate accounts fail

I'm having issues with the termination process. If I'm using WHM, it didn't report anything and just stopped, or it returns an error similar to this line "Cpanel::Exception::IO::DirectoryDeleteError/(XID t7wqvd) The system failed to delete the directory". I tried /removeacct and it says the same thing. It removes the directories of the users but still maintains the DNS zones. So what I did was remove the zones manually. I checked MySQL and the databases have been removed as well. The only thing left remaining is that they can still be seen in List Accounts. Where can I see the logs for this? Any advice how to proceed? Thanks!

  Hello, Please check the cPanel error logs if there is showing any error related this. error logs file path is /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log

  Hello, Could you verify the permissions on /home, and how the partition where your accounts are stored is mounted? EX:
  stat /home cat /etc/fstab

  partitions are pretty standard on regular kvm-guest with lvm:
