Service Down cpanel-dovecot-solr
Hi guys.
I`m getting this error from my server with Centos 6.9 x86_64
When I try :
I get this error:
Next I do: yum --disablerepo='dag' update To remove this repo. Also checked my nameserver search ovh.net nameserver 8.8.8.8 nameserver 8.8.4.4 nameserver 127.0.0.1 nameserver 213.186.33.99 Well, I cannot find more information about this problem in this forum or in google. thank you.
yum clean all; yum reinstall cpanel-dovecot-solrI get this error:
http://apt.sw.be/redhat/el6/en/x86_64/dag/repodata/repomd.xml: [Errno 14] PYCURL ERROR 6 - "Couldn't resolve host 'apt.sw.be'"
Trying other mirror.

Hello, This looks like a bad mirror, as I'm unable to resolve that host from a test system:
# host apt.sw.be Host apt.sw.be not found: 3(NXDOMAIN)
You can check to see which of your YUM repo files use that hostname with a command such as:grep apt.sw.be /etc/yum.repos.d/*
If it's a DAG repo you want to disable, try moving it to another directory:mkdir /root/old-yum-repos mv /etc/yum.repos.d/dag.repo /root/old-yum-repos/

Thank you very much, with your support i can update this service. right now the problem stills reporting from server, but right now i get the same: The service "cpanel-dovecot-solr" appears to be down.Notification The service "cpanel-dovecot-solr" appears to be down. Service Check Method The system failed to connect to this service"s TCP/IP port. Reason Service check failed to complete Timeout while trying to connect to service: Died
And a few minutes after this another : The service "cpanel-dovecot-solr" is now operational. Inside get more information:Notification The service "cpanel-dovecot-solr" is now operational. Reason Service check failed to complete Timeout while trying to connect to service: Died
Also, i have alot of attacks from 10 days ago about smpt authentication "blocked distributed smtpauth attack on account" Someone is scanning all accounts from differents domains inside my server and changing her ip in each attack from different region. Could be in relation this with dovecot service?0 -

netstat -npl | grep :8984 tcp 0 0 127.0.0.1:8984 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 27129/java
/scripts/restartsrv_base cpanel-dovecot-solr --status cpanel-dovecot-solr (/bin/bash /etc/init.d/cpanel-dovecot-solr start) running as root with PID 26922 (process table check method)
The problem stills after reinstall. Kind regards.0 -

Hi! I just have been created the ticket number 8394851 Now i have to fix :Error: WHM Authorization failed with the following error: API failure: (XID vzv8te) The temporary wheel user "get" operation failed with a "sudo" error: The system cannot create a temporary user because this server does not permit wheel users to use "sudo".. You may skip this server or correct the problem and try again.
I also have been added all cpanel ip to brute force protection and firewall rules. Let me read the instructions again. --- Well all as been fixed right now, i have disabled ssh and this is the problem. Right now the ticket its ok.0 -
Hello, To update, it looks like this particular issue related to the use of the GrSec kernel on the affected system. We're currently tracking reports of connection failures for the cpanel-dovecot-solr service via internal case CPANEL-12882.
