On the first server, home and boot partitions were created separately. On the second server, the home and boot partitions work on the main directory. There is no problem.

Thank you for your reply. So that would mean that with the server without a /home and /boot the files where the websites are is taken from / ? That would offcouse be much better since now there is space in / that will most likely not be used

The main directory will be centos and cpanel system files. On the first server, too much space is allocated for mysql. Expanding for the home partition can be applied by reducing the allocated partition for mysql.

MySQL is for both these servers shared on a seperate SSD. This cannot be reduced to be added to /home/ and also keeps filling with log files. Which i need to delete every so often. Would you say when looking at these statistics that mysql is not properly allocated for both vps'ses? I dont get why one is on /dev/xvdb1 and one says /dev/xvda1 while its the same disk?

He missed out on the individual discs, sorry. Mysql partitions must remain constant. If the home field is insufficient, you can define a new disk and use it as home2 folder, the new accounts will be opened via home2. You can continue this way.

Hello, So instead of having to increase the current disk i can simply add a disk to the vps and mount that as home2 to get more diskspace? Do i need to point whm setup somethere to this or will it auto pickup this new location?

Hello, Yes, that would allow you to have more space for your accounts if needed. WHM will automatically setup new accounts on the home partition with the most space by default, and you can move existing accounts to the /home2 partition via "WHM >> Rearrange an Account". WHM will automatically detect "/home2" by default because the default home directory name is "home". However, you can configure WHM to detect different home directory names by utilizing the following options in "WHM >> Basic WebHost Manager" Setup": Enter the location where you wish for new users' home directories to be created. - Select a location in your server's file system to contain all of your cPanel users' home directories, or enter one in the text box. Additional home directories matching the following value will also be used for new home directory creations. - Select an additional directory that you wish to use to store your cPanel users' home directories, or enter one in the text box. If you use more than one directory to store cPanel accounts, the directory with the most free space automatically stores new accounts. This option only accepts one value. Thank you.
