send mail to user@www.domain.tld
I want to send mail to user@www.domain.tld but can't find how to achieve that.
Site is normally working on domain.tld and www.domain.tld
On some standalone mail server I would only add mail domain alias www.domain.tld and all accounts would start receiving user@domain.tld and user@www.domain.tld
How to achieve that with cPanel?
I have got this error during my tests
550-The mail server could not deliver mail to user@www.domain.tld. \n550-The account or domain may not exist, they may be blacklisted, or missing

Hi, This depends on how you have added the domain in the cPanel whether it is like www.domain.tld or added like domain.tld? -------------------- The account or domain may not exist, -------------------- This clearly shows that the account is not present. You can use only with what you have added, so the mail server authenticates it. Try adding a domain in cPanel as www.domain.tld and then see what occurs. 0 -
Hello, This is unsupported, but you could remove the existing alias for "www" in the Virtual Host for the domain name by following the instructions at: Modify Apache Virtual Hosts with Include Files - EasyApache 4 - cPanel Documentation Then, once the alias is removed, you'd setup an Addon domain name for the "www" prefix so that you can create email accounts under it. Thank you. 0 -
