Disk quota notification e-mails formatting
Hi,
At least as of version 64.0 (build 15) "Disk quota notification" e-mails are not properly formatted and are missing the "Date" header (only "Delivery-date"). Some e-mail applications will therefore display no date as a result of this or an incorrect date.
Regards.

Addition: The same applies to "The backup process completed" e-mails. 0 -
Can you get the screenshot of how the data appears to get a better idea. 0 -
Well, if you look at the recent e-mail headers for one of these e-mails : Return-Path: Delivered-To: somebox@servername.domainname.ext Received: from servername.domainname.ext by servername.domainname.ext (Dovecot) with LMTP id OPzkDzA+/VjJYwAARy2dkQ for ; Mon, 24 Apr 2017 01:52:16 +0200 Return-path: Envelope-to: hostmaster@domainname.ext Delivery-date: Mon, 24 Apr 2017 01:52:16 +0200 Received: from [127.0.0.1] (port=55856 helo=localhost.localdomain) by servername.domainname.ext with esmtp (Exim 4.89) (envelope-from ) id 1d2RIe-0006e3-As for somebox@domainname.ext; Mon, 24 Apr 2017 01:52:16 +0200 From: "cPanel on servername.domainname.ext" Subject: [servername.domainname.ext] The backup process completed. and compare them with older ones :Return-Path: Delivered-To: somebox@servername.domainname.ext Received: from servername.domainname.ext by servername.domainname.ext (Dovecot) with LMTP id sYcLMKQL9FjvUAAARy2dkQ for ; Mon, 17 Apr 2017 02:26:12 +0200 Return-path: Envelope-to: hostmaster@domainname.ext Delivery-date: Mon, 17 Apr 2017 02:26:12 +0200 Received: from root by servername.domainname.ext with local (Exim 4.88) (envelope-from ) id 1czuUe-0005Pp-92 for hostmaster@domainname.ext; Mon, 17 Apr 2017 02:26:12 +0200 To: hostmaster@domainname.ext Subject: [servername.domainname.ext] The backup process completed. From: cPanel on servername.domainname.ext X-iContact_locale: en Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: multipart/mixed; boundary="mixed-Cpanel::Email::Object-20815-1492388772-0.0555859463303214" Message-Id: Date: Mon, 17 Apr 2017 02:26:12 +0200
you'd notice "Date" is missing from the newer e-mail's headers (and so is the "Message-Id"). Regards.0 -
Hello Everyone! Internal case CPANEL-12663 was opened to address this issue, and the resolution is scheduled for publication in an upcoming cPanel 64 build. I'll update this thread again once it's published. Thank you. 0 -
Hi cPanelMichael, Thanks for picking it up. Regards. 0 -
Hello, To update, this is fixed as of cPanel version 64.0.17: Fixed case CPANEL-12663: Make Cpanel::Email::Object always add a Date header. Thank you. 0 -
Hello, This may be solved for the "Disk quota notification" e-mails (can not confirm yet), but the "The backup process completed" e-mails still do not have a "date" header! Regards. 0 -

Could you confirm your system is updated to cPanel version 64.0.17 and the notification came in after the update to that version? Thank you.0 -
@cPanelMichael: You're right! Because the "The backup process completed" e-mail lacked the "Date" header, the e-mail application showed it as being received later than the actual (upcp) update to 64.0.17, but it actually run a few hours before it. Will keep you notified... 0
