Backup Validation Error

I try to setup a FTP backup and I got this error Error: Validation for transport "External" failed: Could not upload test file: [Net::FTP] Connection closed I can't find the cause of that error, the ftp work great from any computer. Server is: [LIST]

CLOUDLINUX 7.3 x86_64 vmware " [LIST]

cPanel & WHM 64.0 (build 15)

  Hello, Have you tried manually connecting to the remote FTP server from the command line of the cPanel server? If not, please do so and verify the connection works and you can upload a test file. It could be a firewall rule on the source or destination server that's restricting the connection. Thank you.

  I do this, and got a weird problem. The FTP seem connected but say not Connected... On my local computer the FTP work fine... [root@xxx ~]# ftp ftp-xxxx.com Connected to ftp-xxxx.com (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx). 220 Service ready for new user. Name (ftp-xxxx.com:root): support_unno$viglob 331 User name okay, need password for support_unno$viglob. Password: 230 User logged in, proceed. ftp> ls Not connected. ftp> cd Shared Not connected. ftp>

  Hello, Browse to "WHM >> Backup Configuration" and click "Edit" for the remote FTP destination. Is "Passive FTP" disabled? If so, try enabling it to see if that helps. Also, check to see if any firewall rules are enabled on the cPanel server that could be restricting traffic over the passive FTP ports configured for the remote FTP server. Thank you.
