DNS problem or firewall issue?
Hi all
I just had all my domain moved to a newer server but am having a couple of problems:
1. On a wordpress site of my that has wangguard installed which checks for sploggers it cannot connect to the server and I get this message:
"A DNS problem or firewall is preventing all access from your web server. WangGuard cannot work correctly until this is fixed."
2. On another site that has CCBill installed to take payements from customers, my site does not seem to be able to receive a payment confirmation return message to tell me site that the payment was good.
CCbill did a test payment on my site and this is what they have to say:
I tested our POSTback system with our API endpoint, created account on your website, performed test transaction and received POST immediately.
This indicates there is a problem on your end.
Since your hosting support stated:
"I can verify that you don't have any firewall rules that block outgoing
connections, cpanel does restrict inbound ports by default but not outbound."
Please allow incoming http/web traffic at port 80 so your script
xxxxxx.co.uk/?ccbill_ipn=process
can receive POST from CCBill servers.
If you have any further questions, requests or comments, we"ll be delighted to assist you.
So any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks Bal

Hi I think I have an answer to point number 1, it looks like they want wangguard turned into a paid solution, so it does not really work for free any more. I have found lots of comments suggesting this. Now I am just looking for an answer to point #2 Thanks 0 -
Hello, Do you notice any output to /usr/local/apache/logs/error_log when the payment confirmation return message fails? Thank you. 0
