MultiPHP INI Editor/Manager, EA4, etc stopped working.
many features on WHM stopped working, like MultiPHP INI Editor, MultiPHP Manager, Easy Apache 4, the only thing I have done before this is change some settings on PECL like ext_dir and php_ini settings because the extensions it was building where compiled for the wrong PHP version on the wrong extensions directory but I don't think this is the issue because reverting the changes didn't help.
Here you have some screenshots:
I'm using PHP-FPM for both WHM/cPanel and users too.

Hi, You seemed to have messed it up when you tried it manually. If you want to build additional module in the PHP, you can use the pecl or pear command from the appropriate EA-PHP location to build it with proper EA-PHP. I would suggest you revert back the change you did and compile the modules extension properly... 0 -

But I didn't build any extension manually, I only tried to install it directly through WHM and PECL on command line but both ways the extension wasn't working correctly due to the incorrect (default) PECL settings.0 -
So I just checked again and now the issue is gone, I didn't change anything to fix it, it just fixed itself somehow... so weird. 0 -

Hello, You can review /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log if this happens again to verify if any specific error messages are logged. Thank you.0
