Editing NameServer setting from cPanel
Hello All,
This is my first post, please excuse me if this post in not under appropriate header.
I have created a website in Wix and while publishing, it provided me 2 name servers that i have to add.
I don't have the WHM logon credentials, as i am not a re seller. Under Cpanel console, i don't see any options where i can change the name servers, so that i can point out to Wix Name server.
In the Zone editor i see other types apart from NS type.
Need your help in modifying the nameservers.
I have a very little knowledge about the website and hosting, as my reseller is not responding and neither helping in modifying the name server.
Your help is highly appreciated.

Hello, Name servers are actually modified at the domain registrar of the domain name as opposed to cPanel. You would need to determine where the domain name is registered and change your name servers there to the ones offered by your hosting provider. Thank you. 0 -

Hi Michael, Thanks for your response. Will surely check with the Domain Registrar. Just wanted to check my mailbox are configured in Cpanel, will the nameserver changes will affect my mailboxes? Regards, Ram0 -

Hello, If you change your name servers to the ones provided by your hosting provider, then the cPanel server will still handle email for your domain name (unless you manually change your MX records to a remote mail server via cPanel). Thank you.0
