Auto SSL limits - bypass the 200 domains per certificate limit?
I am getting an error in the autossl logs saying...
9:09:45 AM WARN The website "exampledomain.com", owned by "corecore", has 207 domains. The current AutoSSL provider, "cPanel (powered by Comodo)", can only secure up to 200 domains per certificate. AutoSSL will skip this website. at bin/autossl_check.pl line 301.
I have 71 domain names on one virtual host.
If I understand correctly, autossl will request 3 certs per domain based on example.com, www.example.com and mail.example.com.
If I remove mail.example.com from the dns record will auto ssl only request 2 certs for each domain instead of 3 bringing the requests to 142?

Hello, There's a thread here with discussion of removing the "www" or "mail" aliases: Problems with manual SSL certs and cPanel However, this is unsupported and could result in unexpected behavior. We have a feature request open that would help address the issue you are facing: AutoSSL: Prevent specific domains from being issued free SSL certificates In the meantime, you may want to consider switching some of the aliases to Addon domain names as a temporary workaround. Thank you. 0
