Does cPanel save failed uploads?
I was trying to restore a user account with the Restore a Full Backup/cpmove File feature.
Steps I did: Initiate a full backup, downloaded that backup-xxx-xxx.tar.gz file to my local computer. And I then uploaded the file to the server via Full Backup/cpmove File feature panel. Till here, all is good.
The backup file size was 322 MB. And due to my internet connectivity, there were two failed attempts happened. I could see, my backup files were uploaded nearly 70%. A reasonable case here as well.
Now, I wanted to know WHM/cPanel has any mechanism to store this failed backup file in any folder or it will just delete the failed file.
If it is getting saved, how can I find the dump file and safely remove it?

Hello, The temporary archive you upload from your local computer is stored in the /home directory during the restore process. The path and file name looks like this:/home/cpmoveMRoCXfF4NcByhvjE-username.tar.gz
The temporary file is automatically removed when the restore is completed or aborted. However, if for some reason the process did not finish, you can manually remove the file from the /home directory. Thank you.0 -
Alright, @cPanelMichael That sounds good :) 0
