Backup Retention Question

cPanel & WHM 64.0 (build 19) Compressed backups [X] Daily Backups: Selected days = Mon, Wed, Fri; Retention = 3 [X] Monthly Backups: 1st of the month; Retention = 2 Saving locally in a /backup folder. In this configuration, how many daily backups will be saved? Is it 3 "sets" of M/W/F backups (i.e. 9 backups) or is it one week's worth (just one Mon, one Wed, one Fri backup)?   Hello Vinnie, The "Retention" number represents the maximum number of daily backup files to store on your system at any given time. Thus, if you enter "3" under the daily backups, then your system will keep the three most recent daily backups (no matter the specific day of the week they were generated).
