Moving from one host to another
I'm transferring a website from one host to another (domain, hosting and email). I've set the transfer going, changed nameservers and ITS tag, and set up duplicate email accounts with the new host. All is well, but what I can't tell is when the 'old' email is likely to stop working. Ideally I don't want my client to phone up and say their email has stopped working. I've given them the new email settings from my new host so they'll be ready to change their email program but wondered if there's anything else I should be doing?

Hello Neil, One option to consider is suspending the email accounts via the Email Accounts option in cPanel on the source server if you want to prevent a customer from accessing email on the old machine: Email Accounts - Documentation - cPanel Documentation Thank you. 0
