This sounds like more of a question for over on the Wordpress support forums. Searching over there for the term: email accounts wordpress.org/search/email+account?forums=1 I came across a plugin that might be useful: wordpress.org/plugins/cpanel-e-mail-manager/ In the FAQ for that plugin, here: secure.insyncbusinessgroup.com/knowledgebase.php?action=displayarticle&id=201204321 It says this: If you are running WordPress Multisite (MU), the dropdown menu will only show the domain assigned to the MU. If a DNS record has not been created on the cPanel server for the MU, a link will be provided to add one.
There is nothing in cPanel that can help you with this task, AFAIK.

The reason I posted this here is because I saw this thread: Create email accounts for mapped domains - Wordpress Multisite Before I posted on it I saw the message that I should start a new thread. I know it's not a widely discussed topic - but I was hoping for any ideas. I appreciate the links but I've already tried to find a solution on those forums and couldn't find anything useful. I suspect that the solution would have something to with Addon Domains but I don't how the Addon Domain would resolve in DNS with the domain mapping that Wordpress Multisite seems to require. Any additional ideas or possible solutions - even where to go to ask the right questions, would be very helpful. Thank you.

If you have a cPanel account with example.com, and you create an Alias in your cPanel account with your other domains, example.net and example.org, all of those domains will be available to create email accounts with, via the example.com cPanel account.

Thanks for the response. So if I understand what you suggest then I should create an Alias in cPanel for each site within the Wordpress Multisite Network that I want to have an email account? Then I can create email accounts based on those Aliases? Setting up the Alias won't interfere with the Domain Mapping?

This is why I suggested the Wordpress support forums, I'm unable to assist you with anything Wordpress multisite related, never played around with it. You might want to do some experimenting and see how it goes for you.

Thanks for your patience - I appreciate you trying to help. I have started a topic on the Wordpress MU Domain Mapping support forums as you suggested: Topic: Email Accounts For Mapped Domains in WordPress Multisite " WordPress.org Forums I'll let you know if anything comes of it. If, by chance, you have any other insights please let me know.
