    Hello, The following document is a good place to start: How to Keep your Email out of the Spam Folder - cPanel Knowledge Base - cPanel Documentation Could you verify if the server is following those guidelines? Also, regarding messages sent to root@hostname that are then forwarded to an external mail server, you may want to first create a new email account on the cPanel server and have those messages delivered to that new local email account (e.g. user@domain.tld) by changing the values in "WHM >> Edit System Mail Preferences". Then, setup a forwarder or filter rule to forward those specific emails to the email address that's hosted on the remote server. Thank you.
