DKIM signature on cPanel backup notifications (2)
This is a (delayed) reply to:
DKIM signature on cPanel backup notifications
Following the directions at that thread didn't address the issue.
cPanel sends backup notifications from address cpanel@example.com. example.com is the domain name associated with the cPanel account for which the backup is being generated.
cPanel does not sign the notification emails with the DKIM key for example.com. This is true whether the main server hostname has DKIM setup or not.

Hello @brandonhorn, The signing of notification emails is not a feature that's currently offered in the product. I encourage you to vote and add feedback to the following feature request, which would address issues like the one you reported: Send cPanel Notifications via Authenticated SMTP Connection In the meantime, you may want to try enabling "Enable Sender Rewriting Scheme (SRS) Support" under the "Mail" tab in "WHM >> Exim Configuration Manager >> Basic Editor" to see if that helps address the issue. There's also a third-party script referenced here that you could try using as a workaround if enabling SRS support doesn't help. Thank you. 0
