Hi, I am running out of memory on my server. I have done everything on How to reduce memory consumption on a cpanel vps but it is not enough. I have read comment-11382 on Mail Only version of cPanel & WHM feature and it got me thinking, what services can I stop completely? I have stopped mysqld so far, but I don't know what else I can stop. Also, is there a way that I can set httpd not to run if the url does not start with cpanel.domain or whm.domain? Thanks.

  Could you verify how much RAM is installed on the system?

  You can block ports 2082, 2083, 2086, and 2087 in your firewall rules, as the proxy subdomain URLs (e.g. cpanel.domain.tld) utilize ports 80/443. Thank you.

  Thanks. I have 1GB RAM with no swap (cannot create). I was hoping I'd get a list of services to stop.

  Hello, I don't recommend stopping services unless they are actually taking up the memory. Have you ran a command such as "top" to get a better idea of what processes are using the most memory? Thank you.
