Multiple mx servers

Hello, will multiple mx servers affect outgoing emails? if emails are not going out via mx1 because server is down or blocked will it be delivered via mx2? how to add secondary mx for domain? what priority should be setup? can mx servers be in one subnet or it's better if they are in different? thx in advance

  Hello, MX records allow you to route a domain's incoming mail to a specific server. We document the "MX Entry" feature at: MX Entry - Documentation - cPanel Documentation Outgoing email is unaffected by the MX records you have configured for the domain name. Thank you.
