Advertisement in WHM for other web hosts..

So this might be me completely over reacting here but I can't help but be pretty out raged at the fact cPanel is advertising in a licensed cPanel/WHM for other hosting companies. I mean... we spend thousands and thousands a month on licensing, and then I happen to come across a link in cPanel that directs our customers to another hosts website to nudge them into signing up with them. I understand its your software and you can do whatever you feel is right but I can't see how this is fair on any level. Again, maybe its just me over reacting, but I'd like to hear others thoughts. The link is in WHM > MultiPHP Manager > Upgrade to CloudLinux

  Hi, the link that shows up there is configurable by your license provider (assuming you are not a partner noc) via manage2. It can also be disabled. By default it should take you directly to a cloud Linux page to buy cloud Linux. If the license provider configured it, then the link will take you to wherever the license provider entered in manage2.

  Hmm ok, thank you for that, I feel better than, not sure why this web host is showing up though as the license is definitely not through them, its through buycpanel. I think we did migrate this specific customer from the web host showing up in manage2, is it possible it somehow is cached? I did find cache files in
  /var/cpanel/caches/manage2_cloudlinux.cache
  however removing that doesn't force an update of any kind, still seeing the host and not buycpanel.

  Hello, Does it show the correct license provider when entering the IP address on verify.cpanel.net? If so, feel free to open a support ticket with our Customer Service department so they can take a closer look and verify which provider the license is associated with. Thank you.
