Update: I just noticed that I am actually logged in but cannot access the emails ... Horde, Roundcube, and SquirrelMail are doing the same thing.

Hello, Could you let us know of any output to /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log or /var/log/maillog when authentication fails? Thank you.

We're experiencing the exact same thing, when logging in to webmail, cpanel does log in succesfully, but then roundcube gives a login failed. For us it's on accounts which already have allot of dovecot/imap connections active at that moment. It really looks like some connection count limit to me, if i restart exim and login on webmail immediately before all the account's imap connections start to build up it logs in just fine. I just can't find a way to up the connection limit. I've raised limits in the Service Configuration " Mailserver Configuration section, but that doesn't do anything. Btw; I've checked /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log but nothing significant there which could correlate to this and i can't find the failed logins in /var/log/maillog
