/usr/sbin/pure-quotacheck -u hording CPU resources
Hi there,
Since a few days I'm getting notices that /usr/sbin/pure-quotacheck -u is hording enormous CPU resources all the time...
I don't really understand but it's just one user with this problem. When I cancel the process it seems fine until at night the backups + upcp starts... The CPU's can handle it but I would rather that the process doensn't take up so much resources... This server is running on CentOS 7 and WHM/cPanel V64 (Build 24)
Also I've noticed another server also has issues during the backup process, it uses almost all of the memory (16GB) which results in maxing out the swap memory... On this server I use CloudLinux in combination with KernelCare and WHM/cPanel V64 (Build 24).
I've tried restarting both servers but the problem keeps to continue...
Hope you guys have a clue!

Hello cPanelChrisl For the first problem the Support Request ID is: 8584603 For the second server I will create another request :) 0 -
The issue here was being caused by a large amount of inodes in a user's /home/user/.trash directory. It looks like taking care of those resolved the issue. 0
