Canceling Notifications

Hello, i have gone throw all of our Cpanels in order to cancel notifications as it send 10000 a day but still we recive this kind of notiffications : Possible root compromise: User account USER is a superuser (UID 0) this is our monitoring user and we dont want this notification. i went to contact manager and cancel almost all notification but i guess this kind of notification is not there, how can i cancel it ?

  Are you sure you've got this super user setup properly? Doesn't sound like it to me.

  what do you mean ? i Intentionally gave this user root priv and even if i go to Cpanel GUI to add this user to root users it says "user not found" - we just want to stop the notifications - can you tell me where i can do it ?

  The notifications are telling you that this user is not setup properly, IMO. Can you elaborate on this monitoring user a bit more? If you make an user account a Reseller and set all accounts to be owned by that user, you'd have proper access to all accounts he owns.

  Please just tell me how do i cancel this notification i just want to cancel it sending us mails not fix anything is there a way ?

  Hello, The notification you are referencing comes from CSF/LFD as opposed to cPanel. You can browse to the CSF administrative interface in WHM to change your notification settings. Thank you.

  ok so i figured you referred to "ConfigServer Security & Firewall" to the option : DROP_UID_LOGGING " Together with DROP_OUT_LOGGING enabled, this option logs the UID connecting out (where available) which can help track abuse " thanks
