access htaccess file

Hi, Greetings. I am new. I tried to access .htaccess file, but I could not find. I could see the file in /public_html/.htaccess but I could not see this file through file manager in cpanel. So far, it is only way that I can see my file system. How can I see files in unix file system instead of in file manager of cpanel. Thanks.

  In File Manager, top right corner, a settings button. Clicking it brings up a menu with some options. One of those is: Show Hidden Files (dotfiles) HTH!
