location of the log file for suspension of incoming emails
Hi, I have a user which his info@domain email automatically suspends ( incoming mail only suspends ) I can go to the user cpanel and re-activate incoming mails but I want to know why is it suspending ?
I think it is getting too much spam some how.
I couldn't find a reasong in
/var/log/exim_mainlog
or /var/log/exim_rejectlog
maybe the log is rotated and cleared after it is suspened...

If you are on a shared hosting account, ask your hosting provider if they may be suspending the email account due to spam issues and you may have recieved a notice regarding spamming issues. 0 -
no, I have some dedicated servers. as I said a user in my cpanel server is facing this issue. and I want to check what is going on as that email incoming part is being suspended by cpanel. 0 -
Hello, Email accounts are not automatically suspended through any cPanel/WHM features, but it might happen if you have installed a plugin that suspends the account. Try reviewing /usr/local/cpanel/logs/access_log for the "suspend_incoming" entry with a command like this to see when it happened and from what IP address: grep suspend_incoming /usr/local/cpanel/logs/access_log
Thank you.0 -
