Mysql Always Restarting During Full Backup Restore
Hi all,
On my server if run restore a full cpanel backup, first i always have this:
Beginning restore for "user1234" " Waiting for "mysql" to restart ""Warning: mysql.service changed on disk. Run 'systemctl daemon-reload' to reload units.
Does it have to restart mysql or is this just a configuration error? Very uncomfortable because every restore backup cpanel, mysql down at least 1 minute to 2 minutes. Thank you for your guidance and assistance.

Hello, That's normal behavior when restoring an account, but MySQL taking 1-2 minutes to complete a restart is longer than expected. Does it take MySQL that long to restart when you restart it manually via the command line? How many databases do you host on the server? Thank you. 0 -
Hello sir cPanelMichael, Cpanel account hosted on my server 300 account and have mysql approximately 200. Yes this is longer than the process of restarting mysql directly. 0 -
Feel free to open a support ticket using the link in my signature so we can take a closer look to see why MySQL is taking longer than usual to restart when restoring databases/accounts on the server. Thank you. 0 -
