Dedicated server overloading because of mysql

My dedicated server is with very high cpu server load my site does not load. Mysql is generating a lot of processes. This problem happened when I cleaned the cache (w3 total cache) of my site that has more than 20,000 posts, after that the site has more than 100% cpu. I tried restarting and nothing
