How can I export Private Directory Users

Hello, I have been using Directory Privacy for a certain folder on my server. I would like to export those users I have created. How can I do this? Thanks, Derrick

  Hello Derrick, You can't export the users through cPanel, but you can find the corresponding passwd file in the following location if you want to see it via the command line: /home/$username/.htpasswds/public_html/$protected-directory-name/passwd Thank you.

  Ok, thats great I was able to view all my users. However the passwords dont look at all like the ones I have assigned. I am assuming this has to do with hash and salt? Is there a way of viewing them the proper way?

  Hello, The passwords are encrypted, and it's not possible to view them in plaintext (this is for security purposes). Thank you.
