Hello, Does this system use Ksplice? If so, check to see if using "uptrack" to update the kernel addresses the issue:
    uptrack-upgrade - y /scripts/check_cpanel_rpms /scripts/restartsrv_dovecot
    Thank you.

The issue partly seems to be due to ksplice also. Refer Ksplice users - heads up | Web Hosting Talk others too facing issues due to faulty ksplice patch we guess. We only tried /scripts/check_cpanel_rpms /scripts/restartsrv_dovecot Problem is still there

The dovecot issue persists even if ksplice patches are removed. Should be something related to recent kernel updates.

In similar reports, customers were able to address the issue by updating the kernel with the following command (before running the above commands):
    uptrack-upgrade - y
    Thank you.

Hi, Thank you for the reply. Kernel update to a higher version with reboot fixed the issue.
