Message Delivery Failure - Mail Delivery System
Hello,
1 of the users on my server is failing to deliver emails, all emails sent to 6 different email address are returned with this msg "550 permanent failure for one or more recipients".
First I suggested to contact one of the recipients mail administrator, but the 6 email addresses are not on the same domain name, they are 6 different companies. There must be something wrong from our side.
We tried to use another computer and another ISP without success.
and not all return messages are the same, here are some e.g.
MXtools returned no errors from my server neither from their servers. Thank you for some hints

Hello, Could you check to ensure the server and domain name is following the recommended settings to ensure email is accepted? The recommendations are documented at: How to Keep your Email out of the Spam Folder - cPanel Knowledge Base - cPanel Documentation Thank you. 0 -
DKIM, SPF and DMARC are already activated on the domain name 0 -
Hello, Can you verify if messages are still failing? Also, can you verify those remote email addresses accept email from other servers? For instance, with this bounce: Final-recipient: rfc822; *******@gmail.com Diagnostic-Code: smtp; 550-5.1.1 The email account that you tried to reach does not exist. Please try
Have you tried sending to that Gmail address from another server (e.g. Hotmail, Yahoo) to verify that Gmail email address actually exists? Thank you.0 -
I tried and got the same result. the email address does not exist. What can we do about sur@*******.de ?? 0 -
New I tried and got the same result. the email address does not exist. What can we do about sur@*******.de ??
Final-recipient: rfc822; sur@*******.de Diagnostic-Code: smtp; 550 permanent failure for one or more recipients (sur@******.de:quarantined)
This is a failure message coming from the remote mail server. You'd need to reach out to the email administrator or support team of that remote mail server to see why they are blocking emails from your server if you can confirm new attempts to send emails to that remote address fail, and attempts to send emails to that email address from other mail servers succeed. What pushed me to open this thread is the rejections coming from different email addresses. Now I tried to send a mail to sur@*******.de from another domain hosted on the same server (my server). I received the same rejection message. Final-recipient: rfc822; sur@*******.de Diagnostic-Code: smtp; 550 permanent failure for one or more recipients (sur@******.de:quarantined) I asked 1 recipient to contact her email administrator. Meanwhile let me know if something can be done from my side. Thanks 0 -
I asked 1 recipient to contact her email administrator. Meanwhile let me know if something can be done from my side.
You could try sending to that recipient from a remote mail server (e.g. Yahoo, Gmail) to verify if the rejection is isolated to your specific server. Thank you.0 -
sending from my Gmail address to sur@*******.de is working, email received. 0 -
New sending from my Gmail address to sur@*******.de is working, email received.
You'd need to wait until you hear back from the email administrator of the remote server to determine why messages from your server are rejected. Thank you.0 -
The problem is getting bigger, more servers rejecting emails coming out from my server. I did some experiments: [LIST] - Sending emails from any domain name hosted on my server is rejected.
- Sending from Webmail roundcube instead of MS Outlook is rejected.
- Sending emails from a domain name with dedicated IP hosted on my server is rejected.
- Sending emails from another server (Godaddy shared) is sent and received successfully. in the starting post, it happened that we have wrong address of 1 of the recipients, but many others are not receiving our emails while they receive from other servers. I started receiving notifications from some users 4 weeks ago, but now things are getting serious, I need some documentations or some assistance. Thanks

Hello, Feel free to open a support ticket using the link in my signature if you'd like us to take a closer look at your server to verify there are no configuration settings leading to the blocks. Thank you. 0 -

To update, it looks like the issue was addressed after setting up the SPF record like this:v=spf1 +a +mx include:spf.secureserver.net ~all
