AutoSSL and zip files

A customer with a wordpress site in www.domain.tld includes in some posts include files like www.domain.tld/files/file.zip (same domain) Without autossl file is downloaded successfully but with https:// file can not be downloaded and redirect to homepage. I appreciate any help.

  Hi, Do you have proper SSL installed on the website? If yes, then you should not get any issue, but if you do not have SSL, then surely the error will occur..

  Hello, Do any custom Mod_Rewrite rules exist in the .htaccess file associated with this account? If so, does the download begin working if you temporarily disable those rewrite rules? Thank you.
