cpanel.mydomain.net is a proxy subdomain so it will redirect you to the service that its labeled for. What you want to do is make "mydomain.net" a reseller account, this way you will also have a proxy subdomain for whm.mydomain.net You can then use that for WHM, so you would have: cpanel.mydomain.net - access cpanel whm.mydomain.net - access whm As long as those both resolve to the server, when you run AutoSSL it will generate the needed certificates.

Hi, Yes, you do can have a certificate for the server hostname through the AutoSSL and is pretty easy to manage too.. Service level certificates are also managed by the cPanel through the WHM, so you can use it..

Hello, You'd need to setup a cPanel account for the domain name that you'd like to utilize proxy subdomains with. For instance, if your hostname is server.mydomain.tld, then you'd setup a cPanel account for "mydomain.tld": Proxy Subdomains Explanation - cPanel Knowledge Base - cPanel Documentation Thank you.
