WHM Certificate for Subdomain Level?

We have root access of the server and also got aut ssl at for WHM/CPANEL installed on our VPS . We got Auto ssl mail from cpanel for our name server subdomain i.e cpanel.mydomain.net, which is used to login to cpanel. I was wondering If this certificate is also for whm subdomain level or root level.??? We host too many VPS servers on and uses vultr and other vps provider to host our clients websites. Need a quick reply from cpanel guys or other experts here if they can help. - Removed Promotional Signature -

  cpanel.mydomain.net is a proxy subdomain so it will redirect you to the service that its labeled for. What you want to do is make "mydomain.net" a reseller account, this way you will also have a proxy subdomain for whm.mydomain.net You can then use that for WHM, so you would have: cpanel.mydomain.net - access cpanel whm.mydomain.net - access whm As long as those both resolve to the server, when you run AutoSSL it will generate the needed certificates.

  Hi, Yes, you do can have a certificate for the server hostname through the AutoSSL and is pretty easy to manage too.. Service level certificates are also managed by the cPanel through the WHM, so you can use it..

  Hello, You'd need to setup a cPanel account for the domain name that you'd like to utilize proxy subdomains with.
