Failed to expand ACL string
Hey,
Every few days we get this error message showing up in exim_mainlog when trying to send mail:
2017-04-23 08:00:02 H=(server.hostname.com) [127.0.0.1]:54777 temporarily rejected MAIL : failed to expand ACL string "${if match_ip{$sender_host_address}{+loopback}{${perl{identify_local_connection}{$sender_host_address}{$sender_host_port}{$received_ip_address}{$received_port}{1}}}{0}}": Need source and destination ports! at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/Ident.pm line 21.
Resetting the exim conf seems to temporarily solve the issue but it keeps coming back with no other changes being made. Any ideas why this is happening? I've seen the other thread from a few days ago regarding another "failed to expand ACL" error but I'm not sure if this is related or not. Thanks

Hello Dan, Could you open a support ticket using the link in my signature so we can take a closer look at the affected system? You can post the ticket number here so we can update this thread with the outcome. Thank you. 0 -
Hey, Ticket created, ID 8406359 Thanks 0 -
Hello, I see your support ticket is open. We will respond to the ticket as soon as possible. In the meantime, it looks like this is related to the issue reported on the following thread: rejected by non-SMTP ACL: failed to expand ACL string You may want to try running the following command to see if the issue persists: /scripts/buildeximconf
Thank you.0
