AutoSSL File Unreachable

We have 2 VPS with cPanel. They both have the same domain but configured the DNS so domain.com resolves for VPS1 and mail.domain.com and MX resolves for VPS2. VPS1 task is html server and VPS2 task is mail server. It is my understanding that AutoSSL generates a file in public_html to verify the account, but the file generated by the mail server (VPS2) is not reachable because DNS resolves for public_html in VPS1. How can I solve this so AutoSSL on mail server works? Thanks

  Hello, Since the domain name isn't resolving to an IP address associated with the specific cPanel server AutoSSL is attempting to setup the certificate on, the domain validation process will fail. You'd need to manually install a commercial SSL certificate as opposed to a domain-validated AutoSSL certificate for this to work. Thank you.
