Deleting /usr/local/apache.ea3/ after upgrade to EA4
Are there any issues deleting the /usr/local/apache.ea3/ directory after upgrading to EA4? We successfully upgraded several months ago and want to clear out the 11.5G taking up space.
Can't seem to find the answer anywhere.

Hi, Before removing, I will suggest you check the ea3 folder first and check the disk utilization in it and remove the logs first. Once you remove unwanted files, you can then again check how much space is ea3 folder is taking. You can back it up somewhere or download it and then remove that folder from your server. Removing it directly will also be not a problem, but my suggestion would be to have it backed up, you never know when it may be required... 0 -
Hello, Yes, it's safe to remove that directory once you have verified the system is running well on EasyApache 4. Keep in mind that it's not possible to revert back to EasyApache 3 once that directory is removed. Thank you. 0 -

Thanks - we were pretty sure that was the answer, but wanted to be sure.0 -

Thanks. That's basic server management 101, and I'm sure that will be helpful to others.0
