How to Disable Updating of Individual EA Module
Hi,
I've enabled mod_pagespeed in EA4 but I don't want that particular module to auto update since we're using the latest version of it and have updated it manually.
When easyapache updates it, it reverts back to the older version. How can I disable the updating of this module?
I tried adding the module to the exclude of yum.conf but it just got completely wiped my changes and reverted to the original yum.conf once the cron ran it seems.
Additionally I DON'T want to turn off all daily updates, just for it to ignore that one module.
Thoughts?
Thanks in advance!

Hi, Hooks were there in EA3. For EA4, check the "Post-update actions" section, try if you can make it work for you as expected. Not sure whether it is appropriate, but check once. Introduction to EasyApache 4 - EasyApache 4 - cPanel Documentation 0 -
Thanks for your responses: Okay even after adding: /scripts/update_local_rpm_versions --edit target_settings.ea-apache24-mod_pagespeed-latest-stable.x86_64 uninstalled The EA module still updates when the run system update is run. Do I need to restart any deamon for it to read that file after changes possibly? Regards 0 -
