Exchange Autodiscovery with cPanel

So I am configuring autodiscover for our on-prem exchange environment, at the moment autodiscover works fine for Outlook clients as our external DNS host has the correct SRV records. Note: DNS isn't managed via CPANEL - its all external and hosted elsewhere. However I want to try and get iOS devices and Android devices to work with autodiscover and from my research mobile devices don't use SRV records and only attempt the first two methods of the autodiscover chain: 1. I have tried a few different approaches to get this working but nothing is working for me, first I disabled the following tweak settings: [LIST]

"Proxy subdomain creation"

"Preferred mail service to configure to use for Thunderbird and Outlook autodiscover and autoconfig support" I then tried a 301 redirect but the 301 redirect refuses to work. Instead I get a 403 on the autodiscover folder or error 400 or "Autodiscover and Autoconfig support is disabled." on the autodiscover.xml file. I then enabled the above tweak settings and noticed the autodiscover site for HTTP was redirecting to cpanelemaildiscovery.cpanel.net which didn't resolve to anything. I changed that to mail.domain.com which started working for HTTP however HTTPS refuses to redirect. How can I redirect HTTPS from cpanel to my mail server? Is this a bug in the CPANEL or is my configuration wrong? -- CPANEL Version: 11.52.6 (build 6) WHM Version: WHM 11.52.6 (build 6)

  CPANEL Version: 11.52.6 (build 6) WHM Version: WHM 11.52.6 (build 6)

  
  Is there anything in-particular that's preventing you from updating to a supported version? Thank you.

  Thanks for that link, I saw that during my Googling but didn't really understand it. I assume that requires a service restart also with the rebuilding of the conf? Do I run that script via SSH from the cpanel? In regards to the upgrade, I'm not sure. I have only just started work at the company and its been this way for some time. Ill look into a potential upgrade.

  I recommend updating cPanel to a supported version first in order to to see if the issue persists. Documentation on upgrading cPanel is available at:
