https + chrome + OS problem

Hello Since this morning I have a problem with the SSL enabled accounts on my server After a lot of research, problem occurs with these 3 parameters: 1: https host with certificate self-signed by cpanel 2: chrome 3: specific windows version (maybe android too) Problem 1: so with chrome v59 or v58 + windows 10 10.0.15063 + https site, the outcome is: This page isn"t working didn"t send any data. ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE Problem2: With android + chrome + https the result is the same WORKING: all other browsers work fine IOS + chrome works fine chrome v59 + windows 10.0.14393 works fine all https enabled hosts have this problem. you can check with: [removed] I see NO error on apache log I tried disabling mod_security, lfd I tried changing the PHP 4.4, 4.6, 7.0 I don't know what else to do, help please Check if your chrome loads on not these hosts, and give me your thoughts Thanks

    Are you using Let's Encrypt? We had the same issue a few weeks back. We forced a reinstall of cPanel which somehow fixed the issue.

    I am using AutoSSL, I guess that's Let's Encrypt. But why problems occur only with chrome and specific windows versions? was your problem the same?

    Exactly the same. AutoSSL is by default COMODO certificates.

    so your solution was to do a "Force a reinstall even if the system is up to date."?

    Yes. It makes no sense, I know. We spent 1 and a half hour making sure that the certificates were indeed correct, and then we just tried forcing the upgrade. We tried countless other things before that didn't solve the issue.

    I've gone so far that I deleted my chrome profile completely, uninstalled chrome, reinstalled 2 versions (v59 and v58) The issue is even stranger: I tried on my @home notebook which has windows 10.0.15063 + chrome and there it works. another client of mine reported the same problem, he is having it on both of his computers, one is with windows 7! I will open a ticket

    I am experiencing the same issue since yesterday. I cannot seem to find any pattern that would explain where the issue is. Most of the users I support have the issue with Windows OS 7/10 + Chrome for all SSL enabled sites that are hosted with us. Internet Explorer works fine, Mozilla Firefox also. Some users do not experience this issue and are able to open the sites that most users with Chrome cannot. Requests that end up with the error ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE do not show in the access or error logs of apache. The only issue that I see in /var/log/apache2/error_log is this: [core:notice] [pid 4913:tid 140272935765984] AH00052: child pid 11388 exit signal Illegal instruction (4) And it's filling the log file.

    Well it seems that the log entries that are generated in /var/log/apache2/error_log are related to the issue because it makes a new entry every time I make a request that results in ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE. I've made a strace on the child process that is killed but I am not that knowledgeable to make use of the information provided. I will be more than grateful if someone could point me in the right direction.

    Hello Everyone! Internal case EA-6544 is open to track reports where visiting a domain name over a secure URL results in a "ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE" error message. This has been reported to happen when using the Chrome web browser on Windows and Android devices. The current workaround is to update the "SSL Cipher Suite" value in "WHM >> Service Configuration >> Apache Configuration >> Global Configuration" to the following:
