Server overloaded
Hello!
I have a serious problem of exceptional use of resources for the server that hosts the site that I manage (the website is a blog done with Wordpress with an average of hits per day of 1500 visitors).
By controlling the statistics of the cPanel and the tool "CPU Usage and simultaneous connection" sees that is engaged above all the Physical Memory, Input processes and the Number of processes.
As regards the Physical Memory command always applicant that performs the server is
CMD: /usr/local/apache/bin/httpd -k start -DSSL
and
lsphp:/home/NAMESERVER/NAMEWEBSITE/index.php (but this less demanding)

If bot is your issue..you can setup a test cookie challenge and most bots won't accept cookies and will fail github.com/kyprizel/testcookie-nginx-module 0 -

Hello, You may also want to explore WordPress plugins to see if any might help to address the issue. Here's one I found: Blackhole for Bad Bots Thank you. 0 -
The problem of a surplus of resources of the server is always present, once the site disappeared for two hours. The site rests on Wordpress. Following your suggestions, I installed the plugin Blackhole for Bad Bots (controls and stops the bot suspects) and WP Crontrol (monitors events WP-CRON). For a long time before I installed Wordfence. The instrument CPU and concurrent connection Usage reports no snapshots relating to hours down the site, so I do not know what processes were active at that moment. Accesses the daily average are 2 thousand accesses and on my server that I have in managing apart from this website there is another with irrelevant data access. Server resources shared hosting at my disposal are: Max Physical Memory 2 GB Max Number of Processes 60 Max MySQL" Disk 235 GB Max I/O 2048 KB/s Max IOPS 200 Max Entry Processes 40 in recent days often appears the command /usr/local/apache/bin/httpd -k start - DSSL with memory use of 811 (then is increased compared to a week before) 0 -
Hello, The following thread is also helpful for overall load troubleshooting: Troubleshooting high server loads on Linux servers That said, you may want to consider consulting with a system administrator if you are unable to pinpoint the source of the resource usage on the system. We provide a list of companies offering system administration services at: System Administration Services | cPanel Forums Thank you. 0
